Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate at Savers is a vital component in the support of daily warehouse operations. Responsibilities include backing drivers in unloading donations, arranging items, documenting product weights, and maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse environment. Additionally, tasks entail loading trailers, managing stock records, and ensuring safety compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist drivers in transferring donations onto carts as part of warehouse duties.
• Separate donations by type, including textiles, sturdy goods, oversized items, and interior d茅cor pieces.
• Ensure that the weights of items on the carts are accurately measured and recorded.
• Secure and store complete carts in assigned warehouse areas as part of the storage process.
• Finalize route paperwork by accurately documenting truck weights and generating delivery reports.
• Conform to the specific Savers procedures for trailer loading and ensure the accurate tracking of product weights as items are loaded onto the trailer.
• Assist in the daily stock tallies and documentation of inventory for accurate stock records.
• Keeping aisles and walkways free from clutter and dirt is necessary to ensure a safe passage for individuals.
• Employ a calculator to modify tare weights for calculating the net weights of products.
• Conduct periodic safety checks on forklifts to guarantee they are meeting company policies and state regulations.
• Support the process of loading and unloading trucks during store transfer operations.
• Undertake any additional tasks as assigned, which may involve general office and restroom housekeeping duties.

Qualifications:

• The minimum educational level required is a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Having previous exposure to warehouse or logistics environments is helpful.
• Necessary to lift and move heavy objects on a regular basis.
• Paying close attention to specifics and ensuring precise data entry.
• Fundamental mathematical proficiencies required for weight computations and overseeing inventory.
• Ability to adhere to safety procedures and maintain a sanitary work environment.
