Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate position at Savers is essential for the smooth running of warehouse operations on a daily basis. Duties include assisting drivers with unloading donations, organizing items, recording product weights, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and efficiency. The role also involves loading trailers, keeping stock records updated, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support drivers by helping with the unloading of donations onto carts in the warehouse facility.
• Group donated goods under different headings such as soft goods, solid items, large articles, and household furnishings.
• Record accurate product weights by weighing the carts carefully.
• Place and organize filled carts in designated warehouse zones for storage efficiency.
• Properly document route details by accurately completing paperwork, including truck weight verifications and delivery records.
• Abide by the established Savers guidelines for loading trailers and oversee the tracking of product weights throughout the loading procedure.
• Support in the repeated stock monitoring and inputting of data to ensure updated stock-on-hand details.
• Safety can be upheld by regularly cleaning and clearing aisles and walkways of any debris.
• Use a calculator to adjust tare weights with the aim of determining the net weights of items.
• Inspect forklifts regularly to make sure they are aligned with company regulations and state safety requirements.
• Offer help in loading and unloading trucks as part of store transfer logistics.
• Fulfill extra responsibilities as directed, including tasks related to general office and restroom cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Meeting the educational requirement includes having a high school diploma or its equal.
• A history of working in warehouses or logistics is advantageous.
• Requirements include the frequent lifting and shifting of heavy items.
• Demonstrating a strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail when recording information.
• Essential arithmetic capabilities for weight estimations and tracking inventory levels.
• Proficiency in abiding by safety protocols and upholding cleanliness in the workspace.
